I propose this challenge to you. Make a list of all issues you care about. Some are going to be a higher priority than others but just make the list that is important to you. Abortion, immigration, taxes, vouchers, education, health care, gun control, campaign finance reform, international trade, Iraq, Iran, terrorism, torture, budget, environment, religion, gay marriage, etc. I just threw out several to help. Complete you list and set it aside.
Now do some research. To get a list of John McCain's positions go to his web site On The Issues for his platform. Now visit Clinton and Obama's positions on their web site. You might not get all the answers to your issues but that is a plan to start at least.
Now keep a tally of how many times you agree with John McCain and then anyone of the Democrats. Do you think that Hillary or Barak would honestly be more productive option for you? Your list with McCain will most likely be in agreement on the majority of your issues. You won’t find someone who will agree with you 100% of the time. Is letting your list getting trampled by the Democrats really worth it? Remember, they have control of the House and Senate too.
Tuesday will show the major direction of where the nomination will go. I am supporting McCain but even if it happens to be Romney I would back him 100% in a challenge against any Democrat. You may be able to remember back to when Bill Clinton was running in 1992. Ross Perot neutralized the GOP vote and taking enough votes for Bush. You might not have been a fan of George H. W. Bush but he was a better option that Billy. Think about that in November if McCain is the nominee and remember what is at stake.
